DESCRIPTION

The mkfifo utility creates FIFO special files specified by the operands, in the order specified.

OPTIONS

-m mode

Set the file permission bits of the newly-created FIFO special file to the specified mode value.

OPERANDS

The following operands are supported:

A pathname of a FIFO special file to be created.
